Personalise your Bloggino

Go to My account (the link is located in the right-hand side box underneath your Blogginame (nickname). You can modify any of your settings anytime later.)

• In the tab General
  • Give a title for your Bloggino.
  • Write a little something about you. This short description will be displayed for your friends and visitors.
  • Add a little picture representing you.
  • Your Bloggino is public. However you may decide to privatize it. If so, only blogginers you have accepted as friends will be allowed to read and comment it.
  • Decide if you want to be notified (email or chat), either whenever someone comments your blogginotes, or when a friend blogginotes or when you receive personal messages.
• From the tab Presentation, choose the background you prefer.
  • Select one of the predefined templates. If you like it, just save it and you're done.
  • If you want, personalise your background by choosing one of your images or just a plain color. Pick the color from the little widget.
  • You may also set different colors for the titles, the main headings and the links. The color widget is activated when you click on the square next to each topic you want to change.
• In the tab Contact, leave your mobile phone number to post by SMS or MMS. Likewise specify your messenger system to post by chat.
  • If you have a British or French mobile phone, select your country and simply type in your number. For instance, for a UK mobile write 0779 123 45 67
  • For all other countries, write your number with your international prefix as if called from abroad. For instance, for an Italian mobile phone write 39 320 422 4056
• In the same tab Contact, specify your messenger system to post by chat.

Blogginoting from anywhere

Blogginoting means posting on your Bloggino.

You can access anytime to all relevant infos on 'how to blogginote' by clicking on the link 'How to blogginote' located under your Blogginame in the right hand side box. It will open another box listing the infos.

• From Bloggino:
  • Click on the button in the top menu bar 'New Blogginote' and use the box area to write your message. Attach photos, videos, sounds, other attachment. You may also add a title to your Blogginote.
  • You can add YouTube videos by pasting in the box area the link to the video (not the embed code).
• From your mobile phone:
  • Send SMS to your Bloggino. They will be automatically and immediately posted. Use the phone number we provide you. If in the UK, France, Spain or Belgium, the phone number to send SMS to will be a local one. For other countries, it will be a UK phone.
  • Send MMS by email and use the personal email address we have assigned you. You'll find the email address by clicking on the link 'How to Blogginote'.
• Send emails to the same personal email address. Emails will be posted with their attachments if any.
• Use your instant messaging system and chat with Bloggino. Chats will then be posted. We'll give you a Bloggino chat address to add as a friend in your chat list.
  • To post from your IM client, make sure that you have entered your IM client details.
  • To do so, go to Contact
  • Enter your messenger address and make bloggino your messenger friend. For instance, if you are on Gtalk: select Google Talk, enter your Gmail address, add bloggino@gmail.com to your Gtalk contact list, then send messages to bloggino@gmail.com.

Don't forget to give your mobile phone number and your chat address, if you haven't done it yet. To do so, just go to the tab Contact in My account.

Invite your friends

Bloggino is for your friends too. Friends follow what you post and interact with you.

• It's easy to invite them to join. Import your list of contact from your webmail and select those you want to invite. Click on the button 'Invite friends' in the top menu bar or through the link 'invite'.
• Invite other blogginers when you browse through their blogginos.
• Search other blogginers you may know by clicking on 'Search' located under 'My friends'. Enter either their blogginames, first or last name.

Create or join a Bloggiroom

A Bloggiroom is a shared space, a Bloggino for all.A bloggiroom is about a specific topic defined by the owner, e.g. an event to come, books you like, films from the 60's,movie stars,whatever you feel like.

Anyone then can contribute and post multimedia messages by SMS, MMS, chat, email or from the Bloggiroom.

A Bloggiroom becomes a collaborative space and a community enabler.

Blogginers may create as many Blogirooms as they want. Blogginers are also free to join and participate in any public Bloggiroom.

A Bloggiroom can be privatized and only shared and viewed by friends you accept. This feature lets you exchange more personal infos.

• To create a Bloggiroom, click on the link 'Create' located under My Bloggirooms.
  • Give a name and a title, and define the topic of your new Bloggiroom.
  • Your Bloggiroom can be public and open to all. Any blogginer can contribute, blogginote, comment and automatically becomes member of the Bloggiroom.
  • Your Bloggiroom can be public, but only the blogginers you accept may blogginote and contribute. Others can read and comment. It's like defining a team of editors.
  • You can privatize your Bloggiroom. No one else but thos e you accept can contrinute and view it.
• To personalise your Bloggiroom (background image, colors), click on the link 'Manage Bloggiroom' located under your Bloggiroom name. Follow the same procedure than the one described in the section Personnalize your Bloggino above.

• Blogginoting in a Bloggiroom:
  • From the site itself, and if the Bloggiroom is public and open, click on 'New blogginote' in the top menu bar. One automatically becomes member and starts getting notifications from other contributors.
  • By SMS or tchat, you can post on a Bloggiroom. To do so, you must add at the beginning of your message the name of the Bloggiroom preceded with : (for instance, :name_of_bloggiroom message I am sending)
  • By email or MMS, same technique, add : followed by the name of the Bloggiroom in the subject area of the message, then write the full subject if any.

• Send SMS to the same mobile number you've been given. Send emails or MMS to the personal email address assigned to your account. Send chat message to the Bloggino chat address you've been given too.
